More Clinton Backlash
Hillary supporters aren't going to go away quietly, finds the Politico's David Paul Kuhn. Geraldine Ferraro, who's had a thing or two to say this election year, said Obama should be "gracious" enough to give the VP spot to Clinton. In any case these are the games that are played in the veepstakes. Mario Cuomo, however, asks a good question:
"No matter who he picks," said former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, "the question is going to be raised: Are you telling me that this person would be a better qualified vice president than Hillary Clinton?"
That raises the another question: If Obama picks "Anyone But Clinton," no matter the gender, would Cuomo's question drown out what's supposed to be a major announcement?
