The new Pew poll finding Obama leading McCain by 8 points also has some useful VP data:

* 69% of Hillary supporters back Obama; 17% say they will vote for McCain; and 12% are undecided.
* 55% of Democratic (and leaning) voters want to see Hillary as Obama's VP.

Obviously, there is still lingering anger among Hillary backers by her defeat. The choice for Obama seems to be if putting Hillary on the ticket is the only way to get them back. Probably not, but a month since sewing up the nomination, VP Hillary fever remains strong.
