MSNBC Picks the Winners

Over the last few weeks MSNBC has been running an interactive VP selection game where readers voted on their choices in a NCAA Tourney style bracket format, starting with 32 different head to head match ups (64 possible VP choices) and whittling it down by half each week. This week, Chuck Todd, Mark Murray, and David Gregory unveiled the winners:

For the GOP: Mitt Romney

For the Dems: Joe Biden

Both are plausible choices, though I suspect Romney has more of a chance of being on McCain's ticket than Biden does of being on Obama's. Romney delivers vigor, money (if picked soon), and potentially Michigan to McCain, while Biden only offers Obama some foreign policy support which, if you read my post on the RCP Blog this morning or listened to his press conference today, Obama doesn't really feel he needs.
