As Kyle notes on the RCP Blog, John Edwards was doing the rounds in Michigan today on behalf of Obama.

Michigan is high on the battleground list and maybe Edwards' robust populism will find an audience. Kerry won Michigan by 3 points after all. At the same time, Edwards didn't do much for Kerry in North Carolina (where he was a senator) nor South Carolina (where he was born). Which is kind of the problem with Edwards -- we already know exactly where he did and didn't help John Kerry and wherever he did, it wasn't enough.
