NBC/WSJ Poll
The NBC/WSJ poll released yesterday has some interesting VP info for McCain and Obama.
Obama:
*50% of respondents said having an expert in military or foreign affairs is most important to them.
*42% said having an expert in economic affairs is most important.
McCain:
*60% of respondents said having an expert on the economy is most important to them.
*25% said having an expert in military or foreign affairs is most important.
Clearly, voters don't think McCain's has a foreign affairs deficit. Good thing too, since few of McCain's VP options could be called foreign-policy experts. But mostly these numbers reaffirm what we knew: Obama needs a military VP more than an economic VP; while McCain just needs an economic VP.
