2 teens wanted in 2009 killing found in Mexico

The Associated Press

Two fugitive teenagers wanted in the 2009 killing of a 16-year-old boy have been found in Mexico and returned to authorities in Riverside County after a four-month manhunt.

Hemet police say 18-year-old Jose Campos and his girlfriend, 17-year-old Felicia Sharp, were booked and questioned Wednesday evening.

Police believe Campos shot Adrian Rios and burned his body in a backyard bonfire, with the help of Sharp. Rios was last seen going to the Campos home to watch a football game on Nov. 15, 2009. Charred human remains were found in Campos' backyard days later.

Campos was charged with first-degree murder in December. Sharp was wanted as an accessory but has not been charged.
