Police search for 2 after Las Vegas holdup
The Associated PressPolice are looking for at least two robbers who escaped with a money bag after a daylight holdup of an armored car guard outside a Las Vegas casino.
Detective Ramon Denby says at least one shot was fired, but nobody was wounded in the confrontation a few minutes after 9 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Palace Station casino. That's just west of the Las Vegas Strip.
Denby says two robbers confronted one guard while the other guard was still in the armored vehicle. It wasn't immediately clear whether a guard or a robber was responsible for the gunfire.
No word yet how much money was in the bag.
