Two brothers accused of running a multistate cocaine ring called the Black Mafia Family have been sent to prison for 30 years.
Terry Flenory of Los Angeles and Demetrius Flenory of Atlanta were sentenced Friday in federal court here after pleading guilty to running a criminal enterprise that began in 1990 and lasted 15 years.
Prosecutors say the drug ring operated in Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, California and Texas.
The government has seized 13 homes, 35 vehicles and millions in cash. Members of the drug ring tried to conceal some money by using it to buy jackpots from Michigan Lottery winners.
