Obama to speak to bankers, preview WWII series

The Associated Press

President Barack Obama speaks at a banking conference Thursday, holds more meetings on health care and gets a look at a new TV series about World War II.

Obama will address the Export-Import Bank's annual gathering in Washington. Later, he'll meet separately with members of the Congressional Black Caucus and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to discuss health insurance reform.

The president also sits down with Sens. Charles Schumer of New York and Lindsay Graham of South Carolina for an update on their efforts to produce a bipartisan immigration bill.

This evening, the president and first lady host a preview screening of HBO's new series "The Pacific" in the White House movie theater. Actor Tom Hanks and director Steven Spielberg are expected to be there.
