Outer space? President Barack Obama is on the phone for you.
Obama on Wednesday telephoned astronauts aboard the International Space Station and told them the United States remains committed to space exploration. He and students standing near him in the Roosevelt Room asked the astronauts about their experiences.
Obama says the work being done in the space station is a testament to "the extraordinary skill and courage" of the astronauts. He says it's "also a testimony to why continued space exploration is so important."
Endeavour and its crew of six will depart the space station Friday and return to Earth on Sunday.
