Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden and his wife are releasing a decade of his personal financial records, showing a veteran senator who earned less than many of his Senate colleagues.
The Bidens' move is designed to pressure Republican vice presidential pick Sarah Palin to release her financial records.
Joe and Jill Biden earned $319,853 in 2007, including $71,000 in royalties for his book "Promises to Keep." The couple paid $42,516 in federal taxes and another $10,912 in Delaware state taxes.
Biden has yet to release his medical records.
