Barack Obama is currently on his first overseas trip as President. Obama spent Wednesday and Thursday in London meeting with foreign heads of state such as Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and attending the much anticipated G-20 Summit. The G-20 Summit has been notable for highlighting the split between France and Germany against the United States and Great Britain regarding how or whether the global financial system should be regulated as a whole.

The President visited Strasbourg, France where he attended the NATO summit. On Saturday, Obama visited Prague, in the Czech Republic. Obama concludes his trip early this week with visits to Ankara and Istanbul, Turkey before returning to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. How does President Obama's trip compare to first trips abroad by other U.S. Presidents? Here's a quick look back at the itineraries of the last five Presidents on their first trips overseas.
