10/28/10 -- Hinchey had a series of very close races in the 1990s, but the legislature gave him a safer district, and he hasn't had any problems since. But polling has suggested that he is in at least some trouble this time, and he's received unfavorable publicity on the campaign trail. If the wave is big enough, it could drag him under.
