SBA List Polls Find Trouble For Four Democrats

SBA List Polls Find Trouble For Four Democrats

By Sean Trende - August 6, 2010

The Susan B. Anthony list is a pro-life group that supports the involvement of pro-life women in the political process.  Today it released polls of four Democratic members of Congress who describe themselves as pro-life but who supported the President's health care bill, which the SBA List claims allows for taxpayer-funded abortions.  The polls were conducted by Republican consultant Kellyanne Conway's The Polling Company, and the results were as follows:

IN-Sen:

Dan Coats (R) -- 50%

Brad Ellsworth (D) -- 35%

IN-02

Joe Donnelly (D) -- 52%

Jackie Walorski (R) -- 35%

OH-01

Steve Chabot (R) -- 51%

Steve Dreihaus (D) -- 41%

PA-03

Kathy Dahlkemper (D) -- 46%

Mike Kelly (R) -- 42%

___

These poll results are consistent with what we are seeing in the RCP race ratings.  RCP rates the Indiana Senate race as a likely GOP pickup, IN-02 as leaning Democrat, OH-01 as leaning Republican, and PA-03 as a Tossup.
