Romney's Frontrunner Status Restored

It was a painful win for Mitt Romney and one that came at an incredibly high cost both to his war chest and to Republican prospects for the fall. But even an ugly win beats a loss. And as much as he tried to fumble away what should have been an easy victory on his home field, he still walks off with a W.

Combined with a victory in Arizona, Romney's margin sends him into next week's 10-state Super Tuesday vote with his front-runner status restored. And he proved again that he can battle back even after digging himself into a deep hole.
